not too bad for oltorf From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/24/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   After living at the Ballpark on Elmont (I had many issues with office workers there), University Canyon isnt too bad. Granted the neighborhood is a bit shady, but for what you pay, the complex is alright. The main reason I'm writing a review is in response to the one about bad management. In my experience in the office, I've always been treated well. When we moved in, their special was to get a $250 gift card, which we did recieve a few weeks ago. I also went to the office to pay for a roommate's water bill that was going to be out of the country for a couple of months, and the person in charge of accounting told me she would waive my roommate's bill, since she wasnt actually living in the apartment at the time. I was very thankful, since I would expect most companies to only care about money and the bottom line. In general, it's definitly not the nicest place to live, but if your a college student looking for cheap housing, it's a definite option.
