not as bad as people make it out to be

First off.... the apartment complex is on Riverside yet people act surpried that their cars get stolen/broken into. Don't live on Riverside if you don't want to take that risk. Secondly... the UT shuttle is not affiliated with the apartments so complain about their lateness, etc. on one of UT's websites. UC doesn't control it. I lived at UC for 1 year and it was not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. The only thing annoying was when they painted all the outsides of the buildings... it took FOREVER for the project to get finished. The office staff was nothing special but they were accomodating when I needed to sublease my apartment. The apartments were not nearly as nasty as people have claimed, I had no complaints about mine when I moved in. As for the dumbass who said apartments can't charge you for cleaning and damages when you move out.... you are very wrong. If you damaged anything in the apartment at all, as minor as it may be, or left anything dirty enough to be considered a "heavy clean" you will get charged.... pretty standard for any student apartments.
