I just recently moved out of University Commons. I was not impressed with their apartments at all. The furniture is old and stained, my mattress looked urine-stained, the peephole on the door was too high and I was too short to see out of it, the carpet was rough, the internet sucked, and the my utilities were always high when I had a roommate. The day I moved into my apartment it had not been cleaned and various things were broken. Mike, the property manager, was very helpful when I decided I hated my roommate. He moved me into a two-bedroom apartment by myself. Dale, the lead maintenance guy, was very helpful. He fixed any problems I had very quickly and efficiently. All the problems I named at the beginning were promptly fixed when I complained to Dale. He was always sweet and nice?and even came in the middle night to fix my dishwasher. These apartments are great if you like a college community with loud tenants who throw parties every weekend and leave broken beer bottles in front of your doorway, or dumb thieves who steel bright pink wreaths that say ?l Love Spring?, or idiots that piss on your car at night. I must say they were very nice to me when I decided that I didn?t want to live there anymore and allowed me to sublet to someone else. If you decide to live, which I don?t recommend b/c its Riverside and its ghetto, Dale will definitely take care of you and your needs. Oh and when my hot waterheater over flooded my closet... Dale promptly took care of it and stayed way into the night into the job was completed!!!
