I think UC has gotten a lot better ever since the negative comments from last year. I moved in in the fall of 2005, and I've really enjoyed the experience so far. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Mike was prompt and very accomodating when my roommate and I decided to move into a different unit due to problems with our other 2 roommates.

I don't know much about break-in's...I've had a car here for about a month and so far I've had no problem. The furniture may be a bit unappealing, but what more do you really expect. We've had no problems with bugs or anything. The fitness room is quite far from "state of the art" as they claim but it's usable. The printer in the computer lab can breaks down once in awhile, but they usually get it working once you mention it to them. I would recommend living on third floor, that way you don't have to listen to people's footsteps all day. As for partying...well it is a college apartment, and people do tend to party on the weekends. However, I don't think it's near as bad as Campus Estates or West Campus. The utility package is convenient, and I've never gone over it, even in the hot days of summer and with crazy roommates who would crank it to extreme temperatures. Once in awhile, the management throws "parties" out by the pool, which is always nice. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this place and will probably be living here again next year.
