Honestly, I've lived at this residence for 2 full years and I have loved every minute of it. You don't move into a student housing apartment and think you're moving into the Hilton Suites. It's basically a small community where you can get to know your neighbor. If you don't see them walking the grounds, you'll see them on the UT Shuttle or at the mailboxes. As far as the management is concerned, the current staff is working really hard to clean up the old management's mess. They left this place chaotic! If you're looking for a quieter, more peaceful community this is the place for you. Rent is fair and ALL of your bills are paid! The maintenance crew works really hard to make sure that necessities get done as quick as possible. Everything else is first come, first serve. A burnt light bulb is not an emergency. People have bigger fish to fry! Go to the nearest convience store and buy a 20 watts bulb. Preparing 200 apartments for move in within 3 months is not easy. I applaud them on their achievement. The management is starting to get on their own two feet. I look forward to a lot of events and seeing a new face within the University Commons staff and community.

Are you sure you were living at UC? When I was there, I wasn't worried about light bulbs, I was worried about why they weren't responding to urgent phone calls from the Fire Dept. for two days.

When I lived there I DID NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY for a whole night and day and when I called it was told to me that it was NOT and emergency and I will have to stay another night in the dark, with no AC and my food going bad in the refrigerator before they can established the electricy back. And btw the apartment got disconnected because of their fault. If you think they were even apologising guess one more time.

I really doubt whether you are a resident or you are from the leasing office.
It's not legal to post reviews as 'resident' if you are not.

Wow. No member of management was ever this cheerful to me. And of course it's illegal to post as a resident if you're not. And, likewise, they don't mind crapping on the law.
