I gotta agree, TERRIBLE place to live

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I pretty much want to ditto everything that has been said before.
Security is a joke. They even sent out a notice that the "entry and exit gates are NOT for your security". This is clearly obvious since my car was broken into not once but twice.
The apartment' There was things on my original room condition form that didnt get fixed over the whole course of the year. Notably, a hole in the ceiling of my bathroom where godknowswhat kind of water leaked down every time the ppl upstairs took a shower (im hoping it was just the shower).
The water bills are outrageous since you arent metered for YOUR apartment... you just take a "fair cut" of the overall bill for the complex.
Electricity was fair, the brick walls help keep the cool air in.
The tenants are shady at best. True, some are really cool, but the vast majority are NOT people I would want my girlfriend walking alone through the parking lot at night with.
And the management, forget any sense of professionalism or class.
Ive since found a much newer, nicer apartment in north austin for CHEAPER with a GREAT management staff who fixes work orders on the same day......
If youre new to austin, please dont be fooled into living in these apartments. Take the advice from everyone here. GO ELSEWHERE.
