Worst place I?ve ever lived

The office and management staff are BEYOND RUDE. Not to mention incompetent. The complex is run down and dirty and nothing ever gets fixed.
If, for some reason, you do decide to live here, make sure you have a copy of every maintenance request, and that you document EVERYTHING, because they will try to screw you. There were things that never got fixed the whole year we were there, such as leaky, moldy holes in the ceiling and faulty electrical outlets. Like others, my bathtub didn't drain properly because of the slant of our building. The outside is very dangerous, poorly lit at night (in some places, not at all), moss on the ground from the water constantly leaking from where, I don't know, and the security gates NEVER worked. We had neighbors next door to us that would hang their laudry out to dry (including their nasty underwear) on the rail, right next to the stairs we had to walk down to leave. The crazy lady would also stand next to my roommate's window and scream the most assinine things at her son and husband as they left every morning. The parking lots aren?t properly lit, and if you even have so much as one tire on the white line, you?ll get towed (which is especially stupid b/c half the lines in the parking lot are so faded you can't even see them anymore). They delayed us getting into our apt. when we first moved, and I had to pay $100 to store my furniture temporarily. So we complained that our apt. wasn't ready when they had promised it would be, and they then promised us new countertops, which we definitely didn't get. They also lied about having 2 pools, the one on our side was never open.
The main problem, though, is the office staff and management. Michelle, the manager at the time, refused to give us the phone number or address of the owner when we were having problems, which might just be illegal. She also proceded to literally YELL AT ME when I went to discuss a problem with her, I couldn't believe her nerve. I think that they think that just because the vast majority of leasers at UH are students or immigrants they can get away with whatever they want. Unfortunately, they usually do. These are the most unprofessional people I have ever met, don?t talk to these people, and certainly don't lease at University Heights. Michelle, Dana, and Miranda are all incredibly disrespectful, condescending and unprofessional in every way.
