Godawful. . .

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
At first I was lured there by the price, and afterwards I was forced to leave due to the management's incompetence.
The buildings are very very old. I had a leaky roof in the bathroom that literally fell apart, and it took over six months (and a trip by the city inspector) to get it fixed. . . only to have it fall apart again two months later.
During November of 2001, there was a significantly large rainstorm, during which my apartment was actually flooded. It took them more than a week to get somebody to clean the carpet. Notice I didn't mention "replace". They only cleaned the carpet, and removed the under-paddings, and that only happened about a month after the storm.
Noise levels are ridiculous, ranging from blaring Mexicana music from people hanging in the parking lot to my upstair neighbor's nocturnal activities.
Parking is also ridiculous. I've had my car towed from the lot because an office staff member wanted to park in my spot. Nevermind the fact that the night it was towed there was a large cold front moving into town and Austin was hit by golf-ball sized hail.
Check the area's crime reports. During the time I was there there were multiple car break-ins and at least two cars stolen from the lot. Police cruisers patrol that area on a regular basis, yet incidents still occur.
As I write this, it has been fourteen months since I have moved out, and I have yet to recieve my security deposit back. Chances are I never will.
