Maintenance here is a major problem. Things you expect to get done in a day or two take months.......If you are having an emergency, for instance like the time when our disposal broke and our sink was stopped up and full of rotting food and water that would not drain, we waited for two weeks to have it repaired... Now two week old rotting food is a sanitary issue and after finally making my way up to management after having called every day for two weeks, i got oh, yes they came out today and will have the part to fix it tomorrow....Sure. Little things such as our front door knob falling off (which i consider a safety issue due to the fact that anyone could get in our apt), dont expect to have fixed within two weeks, or a closet rack breaking, be prepared to wait at least a month.. Every maintenance issue I've had for the almost full year that i've lived here has been handled poorly. Every time there was an excuse, well we had refrigorators going out, and we had a flood in this part, and we had 80 work orders.....I'm very sorry the place is so old that nothing works. But the place should realize this and realize there are going to be many maintenance problems and perhaps hire enough maintenance staff to handle the problems!!! It is not that hard to figure out people!!!!!
p.s. I wish the office would not advertise that we have two "groovy" pools when the one on my side has never been open......never!!!
Is that not illegal' I just want to rip down the signs every time i drive past them!!! And when i have mentioned management being terrible, i am referring to management...not office staff. They are as helpful as they can be considering the understaffing of maintenance and poor condition of the complex. The management and OWNER are the problem here!!!!! so in summary.....please do not move here unless you are use to unsanitary living conditions and an apartment that is falling apart.
