1yr no AC, 6mo no Frig, 8mo no carpet.. it flooded. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/12/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   As you all know, it's hot as hell in Texas. Try making it for a year with no AC! Because that's what my stay at UH was like. Also, the frig quit working, and maintenance never comes out. It flooded in my house, no rain, just unexplainable water from the roof. It took a week for them to come out and inspect the flood. They got it to stop, pulled up all my molding carpet, and never came back to put new stuff in. I was lucky I was dating someone and stayed at her place pretty much the whole time, paying rent at a place that was never occupied. If you are thinking of renting her DONT DO IT!
