I lived at UH for two years because it's cheap...and yes, NOISE, dirty, NO PARKING, fear of getting your car broken into, lack of security, lack of maintenance etc...
One time the unit upstair bathroom leaked water down my bathroom...bunch of craps (or should come right out and say '----') came down...it took them 2 weeks to fix it. Other countless "non important" problems like broken sink, broken fridge take only about 1 month...
When I moved out, I paid all rent, utils, gave them a 30 days notice with forwarding address, returned keys, clean the apt etc hoping to get my money back...well I was told that I'll get it in the mail after 30 days...well it's 2 1/2 months now and i don't see anything. I called them 10 times and got a run around "oh this girl didn't do her job", "oh the owner will cut you a check", " oh Nicole, the manager handles that and give us your number, she'll call you"..well I left my number like 10 times and never got a single call...
and I don't see my money returned to me either.
NOTE: If management failed to return your desposit in 30 days, they are in breach of contract and can pay the penalty of your deposit times 3 plus all court fees..I'm in the process of dragging them to court.
Nicole Goforth is the name of the manager there....a real -----.

yeah she is a real----, they tried to charge me extra money for nothing and cash at that...I think the drug dealers pay her to keep quiet. she doesn't do anything about the crime rate here and last night some one got murdered in the alley by my home.
