I have been living here since August of 2006 and I have had nothing but problems. The whole reason I moved in here is because they were supposed to let me move in July 28th of 2006 (the beginning date on my lease) because I needed to be out and clean my old place by the 31st. Well, I took Friday off work to move in, went to go get my key and when I got there they told me it wasn't ready. No biggie. I would move in the next day. I went again. Still nothing. They are closed on Sundays so I didnt get to move in until Monday which was majorly inconvenient because I had to take a whole day off work and bust my butt to try to get my other place cleaned out completely by midnight. Well, that first night there, there was a brawl, not a fight, a brawl with three guys out in the street. I should have known then that it wasnt going to be pleasant staying here. The next day, my AC went out. It was 90 degrees in my apt and it took them almost a month to get it fixed right. Which led to my electric bill being almost $300!! Then there was the problem with them shutting off the water every three days or so. The toilet stopped working the second month. I started seeing lots of roaches about the 3rd month and Im a freakishly clean person so this was quite a shock to me. The gate has NEVER worked, so at all hours of the night people are coming and going blaring loud music and yelling at each other. The police are at the apartment weekly, but that doesnt make me feel safe because my car was still broken into... TWICE!! And someone attempted to break into my apartment WHILE I WAS HOME!!! The mail key was taking when my car was broken into and when I went to ask for a new one, they told me they would get back to me. Yeah, 2 months later I got a new mail key. When I went to try to get out of my lease they told me they werent responsible for damages to my property and it was my job to take car of ensuring my security during the nights. I also that in February, a TimeWarner Cable employee was held up at gun point in the parking lot (there was a notice posted on the office door). The icing on the cake really though was this Friday when I got home from work there was a notice on my door. It said that because the was $5 balance on my accont from a WATER BILL from March, I would need to vacate the residence by May 25th. FIVE DOLLARS!!!! No one ever told me about it. No one said anything when I dropped my rent check off in the office. I never even got a notice on my door about it, and they obviously have some moron who runs around and does that crap. Anyways, save your self the time and frustration you will get by living here. Pay a little extra and find somewhere nice.
