This place may be cheap and on the UT bus line, but it is a haven for crackheads and illegal immigrants, not students. Don't let the "University" part fool you. My roommate's car was broken into and a friend of mine who also lived here had his car stolen; our air conditioner was broken for 3 months in the summer before they fixed it; and we had to take them to court to get our deposit back (it took a long time, but they were ordered to pay 3 times the amount they owed, so it was worth it). And that was a couple years ago, before things got really bad. If you can read what I'm typing, don't rent here!
