I had problems from the minute I signed my lease with these people. They claimed I could move in early, and when I actually needed to move in early they said that it was not at all possible. One time they said that I didn't pay my rent (which I did, on time) and tried to get me to pay $100 in late fees. I finally had to convince them that I paid my rent, and they shut up about it (probably because they got my check and didn't want to admit it). When I moved out, they chaged me over $400 for move out fees for cleaning items in the apartment that I had already cleaned throughly including my carpet, kitchen, and bathroom. They replaced my bathtub (which was probably over 15 years old) and charged me $250 for that as well. They are trying to steal money from me!! DONT LIVE UNDER MARQUIS MANAGEMENT! They also tried to turn my neighbor and I against eachother when we were quoted different prices of rent to resign our leases (which were both higher than we were currently paying).
