Every since I came to college and learned about college apartments I always wanted to live in Crossing Place because they look so nice and way better than a lot of apartments on Riverside.

However, when they moved in my apartment was not ready, they still had the original tentants in my apartment, because there new apartment in another side of the complex was not available. I had to live with a boy and his girlfriedn living in one room and another girl, when I was only have to have one roommate ( my roommate of two years). Speaking of her she had her own set of problems (like her key not working to open her room, and them threatning to sue her because she wanted to change her lease after a day of signing it two 9 months from 12 months. Which is illegal because you are supposed to be given a two or three day grace period after signing a lease).

The place was disguesting after the original occupants had left. I had to clean it up myself. I contacted maintenace for two months to finally come and six and repalce items in my apartment.

The management is horrible with a Capital H. They are incompetent and idiots. I had a good friend that worked in the front and after the person graduated and found a better job I was told about all of the disgesting and horrible practices of the mamgaers and stafff.

I have had so many problems with Crossing Place. Honestly all college apartments are horrible. One is not better than another. The apartments are owned by huge investemnt companies and are in the business to make money not satisfy occupants. The jokes that are working in the front office barely make over minimum wage if anything at all, so dont expect them to give a damn about you. In fact you should feel sorry for them. WHat if you had there life too, it would probably be pretty pathetic and sad as well.
