Do not sign a lease at Crossing Place. You may save $30 a month on rent, but you will pay for it, I promise you. Horrible service at the Front Office. Dont count on getting your mail and packages on time either. Maintence problem' at least a week. Pets were ok until they forced you to pay a deposit and a monthly fee. Then they fine you for not having a leash on your dog when you play fetch. Crime and vandalism high. If you own a nice car stereo, it will be stolen unless you remove the faceplate. First floor apartments have been burglerized on several occaisions. Check out the other places around wickersham and pleasant valley

my dog is a 3 lbs maltese/poodle and i would kick your baby if you kicked my dog. if i pay rent, i would certainly use the open grass in the apartment complex as my PERSONAL playground.

If you dont mind, then use the grass in front of YOUR apartment, not SOMEONE ELSE'S. And by the way, I sued the dog owner- and won. There's this little thing called a leash law in williamson county. If you don't like the lese rules, why move in? I will give you this though- if they didnt tell you about the doggie-rent up front, shame on them. If you knew and still moved in, shame on you. the leashes protect both you and the property from liability. If I try to pet your 3 lb on-a-leash maltese and it bites off my hand, shame on me. If he's not on a leash and it jumps on me and scratches me just enough to shred skin w/o drawing blood, shame on you-big time . See what i'm sayin? Nothing against dogs, just some of the careles people who own them. And there are apartment complexes with areas for dogs so check those out instead.

Travis County has a leash law as well.
