I wrote a review back in 2005 but I guess it seems to be that my review was to specific to even be posted. I've lived here for 3 years and can't wait till august 10th (my move out date). My first year here was great b/c the staff was great but after they changed management for like the 5th time, it has all gone downhill since. Kris Kelly is the head manager and is always hiding behind his desk. I had to call him up one day and he was fully aware of my callings and kept tellin his student workers to say he was gone. Well one day I called in at 4:00pm and of course identified myself and they said kris was off site. So then I decided I would identify myself as a new resident at about 4:10pm and sure enough they transfer me over to Kris. Not only is KK bad but his partner in crime Kris Burleson is about 10 times worse. He pretends to be the "acting" manager most of the time and enjoys pushing around his residents (which I have many stories). He is definately a two faced and I would not trust a single word he has to say. He comes off very charming and acting like he will solve everything but, I promise you wont hear from him until you threaten him with the "P" word. (thats p for parents folks). I honestly hate having to use my parents as a leverage on these ppl since I believe these are apartment complexes but CP is honestly scared of elderly ppl telling them reality to their face. Obviously its cheaper rent then whats available around the austin area but keep in mind you get what you pay for which is cheap/unsafe/horrible living.

I've got to say ths review is totally wrong. Both the managers mentioned here have never been anything less than friendly and professional when I have had problems, or even my parents have called. I just feel that calling out specific names and not being "man or woman" enough to post your own name is b.s. I have never met one person at CP that has had these issues with either manager. In fact in most cases, it has been jus the opoosite of this review.
