Seriously...what is wrong with most of the people complaining here. Its an apt..not your moms house. You are paying like $400 a month its not a $300,000 house like at home. And news flahs your mommy is not here to pick up and clean after you when you vomit all over the floor or fix the whole when you push your drunk roommate through the wall. And when you run the AC on 60 degrees what did you think would happen.. And NO the people in the office probably arent as nice as your mommy and daddy are either and dont gave you everything you want when you ask, but they are extremly nice and do care...the Manager everyone is ripping Kris Kelly, always manages to say hi and knows most peoples names. You dont usually have to even ask for him because other people get crap done for you.

Dont get me wrong....its loud when people are parting but Im sure there is a night we have all contributed to the partying. Yes there is alot of trash sometimes but again...if you have partied here...you have contributed to that too. My friend live at Longhorn landin and OMG you should see how dumpy those are. At least our place is newer and alot nicer.

So if you have an issue with CP...get some balls and go to the office and act civilized and youll find you might get more help than on here. I have.

I was always very polite and respectful when I spoke to the office personnel about issues. The students who work there really can't help you much with a lot of issues that come up and it's not their fault. But when you would ask to speak to Kris Kelly(who's no longer there) all you'd get is the "dodge and weave" response - he's not here, he's in a meeting, etc., etc. Don't bother leaving a "message" 'cause you won't get any response. You basically just have to park your butt in the office until he "mysteriously" returned. It's possible that expectations might be a little high when it comes to leasing these places - they do a GOOD job of sucking you in and getting you to sign a lease and then drop the ball afterward. Everyone should be very WARY of any type of college/university apartment. Looks are deceiving.

I have been at my current apt complex for 2 years since I left Crossing Place and the only complaints I have are for its age and amount of trees- issues COMPLETELY out of their control! For the same size complex with the same amount of residents as Crossing Place, and with less staff I might add, they have managed to handle every issue I have had courteously and in a timely fashion (within 24 hrs). So, I stand that Crossing Place has no room for excuses! The issues there run MUCH deeper than the lack of mommy being there to wipe your a**...TRUST ME! But if you do decide to live there despite what all us past residents are saying...you'll soon find out for yourself- Good luck!
