i don't think it's worth the high rent

I only consider the rent high because new management has upped it even more since i moved in. New management claims to be making awesome changes and improvements so what do they do' They paint our earth toned complex to greens and tans (which isn't so bad) but BLACK railings just like every other "new management" complex. They put stone walls around the dumpsters (whoop-de-doo) and they'll be making improvements to the club house. Also, they will offer some units as "premium" so they will charge a person more to have stainless steel apliances or something like that. There is a silver fish problem in some of the complex, but if you have problems with other bugs - that's because your apartment is dirty or has been for a long time before you moved in... and it's not clean yet. The carpet and floors will never be clean no matter how hard you scrub. My feet are less black since i've cleaned the floors several times after move in. Parking can be an issue - but that's building to building. management has never really done anything spactacular for me... and if i've ever wanted some information or something done i've had to repeatedly go to the front office and complain. I've stopped trying to get them to do things for me. My boyfriend lives in the back and his toilet has been broken since move in. It clogs at the first sign of TP. They snaked it and scratched up the toilet once... and that was it. How much do you think it sucks to have to prance over to his roommates room to go pee in the morning' It sucks.

Don't get me started on "roommate matching" HAVE ALL OF YOUR ROOMMATES WHEN YOU SIGN.
We moved in 3 into a 4, 4 so one pot luck. the first girl was temporary because they were still fixing her unit or something. Our second roommate moved in (apparently subleasing) who smoked, didn't go to school or work... she was basically a sitting piece of trash. She was a danger to our apartment... .left doors open and the oven on. Lied about not smoking in the apartment. We were about to ask to have her removed when she left on her own free will because she was raped by guys upstairs or something like that. Not sure if it was a lack of safety or a lifestyle situation but it happened and we never leave doors unlocked. I think our situation finally hit a nerve with management because they didn't put anyone in again until december... but the girl showed up on our step... we weren't even given notice about someone moving in.
but yah... staff sucked before... and i have a good feeling that they still do
