ummm not against the law at all! A bit of time spent on this question one would see how utterly ridiculous that comment was. Dorms do it all the time! It is called a third party delivery service. Complexes (especially those that cater to students are often listed as dorms on their tax documentation.) As such, they simply are offered "drop service" by the USPS. Another words USPS will not do delivery, but simply "drop" the mail at the location. The company must then decide if it is going to deliver the mail, or contract that service out. It sounds like this complex decided to contract it out. FYI...if you are not getting your mail at a complex that has contract delivery service then you might try contacting the delivery service direct...or maybe you should invest in a post office box! FYI #2...most apartments have an Addendum (part of the lease contract) that releases them from any and all liability associated with postal deliveries. If you don't understand the lease don't sign it! It seems like you have a lot of growing up to do... If you’re old enough to sign a contract...your old enough read it before you sign it! I Don't feel sorry for you one bit! Grow up!
