In the interest of full disclosure I want you to know that I used to work for the Preiss Company, but I am still a resident and this review is not being influenced by UVA at all.

Honestly, I don't really have any horror stories to relay. If you're looking for something like that I am sorry. I will say that it is a good place for the price. Are there nicer places in the city' SURE! Are there places in a better location' SURE! However, there are not many places in Austin where you can get cable, internet, and water for free or parking for just $25/mnth. My biggest gripe is that parking is a nightmare! If you don't have an assigned spot you may be driving around for an hour or so to find parking that is even somewhat close to your building.

Also, there are very few places that can keep you in the price range that this place keeps us all in.

Like I said there have been times that I have been ticked off, but I don't really loose sleep over it. I have had problems with noise, but I call the police, and continue calling the police until they do something about it. One night I called six times and finally the party was shut down, and I believe some under age drinking was discovered because there were quite a few young people sitting on the curb by the police car outside of my building.

Typically when I have a problem I try to fix it myself before I involve the office. 9 times out of 10 I handle the problem just fine, and don't have to call the office.

Anyway...I guess what I am trying to say is...

While it may not be perfect (what apartment community is') it is nice for the price that we all pay, and I have never had any earth shattering problems. Riverside is what it is, and we all pretty much decided to live her because it was economical.

So basically, a person has to be employeed by these people, to have a half descent experience at this location!?!?!?!

I believe the person was very honest. If you will notice while they didn't have an "axe to grind" the poster was still honest, and even rated them a 2 out of a possible 5. That is hardly a "half descent" rating. If it would have been a 3 or a 4 rating I would have raised and eyebrow, but a 2 out of 5 is way below satisfactory
