University Village is a disgusting hell hole that houses the scum of the earth.

The people at the office are absolutely ------- stupid and useless. Every time me or any of my roommates goes to the office with a complaint or a question, some idiot talks in senseless loops until we just give up and leave. They have absolutely no grasp on the idea that they should return phone calls. They constantly contradict each other and seem to have no idea what's going on.

Our apartment has flooded TWICE - once due to the ----ups in the apartment above us that let their broken washing machine flood their apartment, thus leaking into ours. And secondly because of a fire on the third floor.
We were told we had to move out of our 4 bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom apartment by the end of the day or they would charge us $200. They justified this by saying they needed to start construction to fix our apartment the next morning. It has been 8 weeks... still nothing done in the old apartment. I went by and noticed that it has also been broken in to... AGAIN.

Yes, do not live here if you don't want to worry about thugs and dumbasses breaking in and robbing you (lots of car robberies as well). The first time they broke in, they stole an xBox and Rock Band.

So here we are, all cramped into a 3 bedroom apartment (paying rent for a 4 bedroom) while the morons that work here are dicking around and pointing fingers at whose fault it is.

This place is disgusting, dangerous, endlessly annoying, and it makes me sick to my stomach every time I walk in the door to know that I will, undoubtedly, be banging on the ceiling with a broomstick within an hour to get the neighbors to quit stomping around like a bunch of animals. Seriously.. it sounds like a zoo up there. And apparently they think it's funny because they'll stomp back in response to the broomstick and continue their loudness.

I'd rather live under the Congress bridge with the bats.

first that apartment that caught on fire happens to be mine and it was a fluke caused by a printer.secondly the reason why your apt flooded is because the fire dept put out the fire using water, next time maybe they should try something else? or just let your apt burn. I was just wondering did you loose anything in the fire? well i did, i lost everything. so when that happens and you spend days in a hotel and in the same clothes, dont -----. and as for the staff they were very gracious to my roomates and I, they had us in a new apartment within 2 days and were very friendly. More than likely you came in screaming acting like a child and tried to get your way and typically i wouldnt have been nice to you either.

I never said the fire was their fault... or the flooding as a result of the fire. I know water puts out a fire, dumbass. I am completely aware of what that situation was. What WAS their fault was that they did absolutely nothing to fix our apartment from the water damage for 3 MONTHS even though they gave us LESS THAN ONE DAY to move out so they could supposedly fix it the next day. Meanwhile we had to live in a 3 bedroom and still pay rent for a 4 bedroom. That's retarded. There was no childish behavior involved, except on their part. Every time we asked when we could move back into our old apartment or at least pay less rent because we were all cramped into a 3 bedroom, it was a different story and no one would ever get back to us about any of it. You're obviously just pissed that you lost your stuff (understandably) but you've misunderstood every point I tried to make. I wasn't pissed that our apartment flooded. I was pissed that they threatened to charge us if we didn't move out that day so they could fix it and then didn't fix it... over the course of 3 MONTHS. Hope that cleared up the confusion.
