This is my fifth apartment in Austin, so I feel I have a good basis for comparison. I have lived here for 12 mos. I am moving out because I am not going to buy a condo here. This review may only be helpful to future condo buyers or sublettors...

Pros:
-The complex and its tenants are quiet and clean.

-Appliances, cabinets, etc., in great shape.

-I have had absolutely no pest/bugs issues.

-Reserved, covered, well-lit parking space; guest parking spaces as well.

-Safe area

-Easy walk to restaurants and thrift stores, and it's right on the 3 bus route -- a very convenient route.

-W/D in unit.

Cons:
-The layout does not make a good use of space. In the 1br/1ba, it's difficult to fit a sofa, a chair, an eating table and a desk in the living area.

-There is a top window in the bedroom that lets in so much light and is so inconvenient to cover, it's actually worth mentioning as a con.

-Very minor maintenance issue (pro; it was reeeaally minor), but kind of shoddy work (con); however, I did not follow up with a complaint.
