I too am very disappointed with the new owners/management. The property is simply not as friendly and there seems to be ALOT of "lower class" people moving in. Unfortunately, it seems the Ventana Oaks standards of approval are much lower than Spraddle Creek! The staff is far from friendly and warm. I have gone into the office for various reasons and have been totally ignored and NO ONE smiles!! I have requested maintenance on the air conditioning in my son's bedroom and still have not received satisfactory results! It is 100 degrees outside! It is such a shame to lose the wonderful staff that use to be here. The new staff is probably hoping that most of us move out, so they wont be compared to the previous. The atmosphere has definately changed for the worse. Yes, they are trying to make "improvements", like repaving the parking lots (which it DIDNT need) and now they are going to "repaint" the buildings (it is siding, doesnt need repainting). They should making the parking situation top priority. Residents without a garage or covered parking are screwed (this includes me). They should install more covered paring (not enough here now) or assign at least 1-2 (depending on how many adults occupy the individual apartment) parking spaces per tenant. I should not have to park 3 buildings away from my HOME! I do not feel that I can go to the staff and feel that they are here for ME and I do not feel that I receive efficient results from what I need as a tenant. If it wasnt so expensive and hassle to move, I would move when my lease ends next month. I am really curious how much they are going to raise my rent. You would think they would decrease the rent amount for the residents that are renewing leases and giving them the chance to make us satisified to continue to make our home here!!
