Very Sad! Having lived in Austin for over 20yrs. I had found what I considered the nicest complex in Austin. Spraddle Creek
was the best! Now Ventana Oaks doesn't even compare. From the very first week of new ownership and management it is just not the same. The staff at Ventana Oaks is the worst I've ever seen. The list of personal complaints could go on and on...The new staff is not friendly or professional. It has been about three months since the new staff took over and I can't wait for my lease to expire!!! The swimming pools are not clean and fresh like before. The parking is such a joke. With the new beautification improvements they have ongoing, they have inconvienced the residence over and over. It has been over three months without an ac filter or maintance check, no extermination. Did I mention the Hot-tub is not even warm or clean. In the past three months there has been two police cars outside my Apt.on three different occasions. Never before in the past years have I seen a need for the police to be called. Don't be fooled by the exterior new BLACK paint on the rails. The pretty green paint was just fine. The latest complaint would be the new speed bumps that are without reflectors or white paint and without prior notice, even at 10 mph can cause damage to the front end of your vehicle. I have noticed that the future residents are moving out and this place is going down fast! The new owners and management have a much lower standard of service for the people that live here.
If I wanted to live in East Austin I would move there! Oh yea, the rent is going up too!
