I moved into what is now Ventana Oaks (formerly Spraddle Creek) about 5 years ago. The customer service was excellent, the people were friendly, and the property was beautiful. Things have totally changed...and not for the better. Since the first day the Ventana Oaks staff moved in, they have been rude, condescending, incompetent, and can't spell the simplest of words correctly in their newsletters, which seem to come out randomly. They also post dozens of notices on our doors what seems like every week. They don't return phone calls and don't follow up on maintenance requests. When they do come in for a maintenance request, they do not leave notices stating they have completed the job and/or entered the apartment. I have several neighbors who say they have several things missing. I've had to get a nanny cam to keep my apartment under surveillance while I'm away. There has been a big turnover with the staff but to no advantage for the residents. They just keep finding more idiots to sit around in the office. The staff seems more concerned with having pizza parties then actually running the complex. In addition, the quality of person moving in has drastically gone down. There use to be nice, middle class friendly residents living all over the complex. We're now living in a section 8 ghetto-ville trash pile infested with chicken heads running around with their heads chopped off. It really is pathetic how run down and low rent this property has become. Do yourself a favor! Don't move here! Just check with any of the residents who live here and get their opinion first hand. I can't wait to move out. It can't be soon enough!

Amen! I second everything about this review, especially the spelling and decline in quality of resident.
