I recently moved out of Ventana Oaks and would NEVER recommend this apartment complex to anyone. I signed my lease orignally with Spraddle Creek (which by the way the staff and management was great!) and after being bought out, the new management company failed to transfer my $300 pet deposit. Two months after I move out, I receive a phone call informing me that Ventana Oaks has filed a small claims against me for more money to clean my carpet. So not only am I out $300, now I'm out another $100 for the cleaning of the carpet (which they should have replaced anyways since I had an animal living with me). If you make the mistake to move into this complex BE SURE that you document everything and do not throw away any receipts!

no, apartment communities do not change every carpet just because you have a pet. Apartments do clean the carpet and "pet treat" it. You are responsible for keeping the carpet clean and free of pet feces and urine. You are complaining about an alleged pet deposit that obviously wasn't listed on any of your lease documents, but you also want to have to pay for a carpet replacement?
