You know, I've never had much desire to post comments on things like this, but I do feel kind of cheated by my experience at Hunter's Run. I lived there for about two and a half years with various roommates. Upon changing roommates once, they asked for an additional deposit (one month's rent, or about $1100) which we paid. At that lease's end, I needed to do month to month for a bit before I had time to move. Rent went up *every* month I stayed past then. It was outright abuse. The final month, I got the notice stating the new rent rate of around $1400 about four days before the first of the month.
When moving, I was told the extra deposit was never paid. What's funny is I saw them write a note in my file (on a damn post-it-note) when turning in the deposit. I guess this fell through the cracks, as I suddenly owed them about $700 at move-out instead of getting 400 back. Bleh.
At 1am one night, the security alarms in my apartment started going off. These things are painfully loud and it's not like the apartment office is open to go ask them what to do, so I snipped the wire. They billed me a cool $250 to reconnect a wire.
Package pickup was never a problem. Hopefully you want more than that from a complex. The proximity to the north ACC campus tends to add some extra noise due to tenant age, too.
