Great location, reasonable value.

I have lived here for 5 years and have been very satisfied overall. The location is great--near Mopac and 183; 15 minutes to downtown; plus tons of shopping, restaurants, and major employers within 10 minutes. The apartments are about 10 years old and are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. There are many apartments in the area, and you can certainly find some nicer properties. However, I think Verano is a reasonable value.
New management took over about a year ago. They have made some updates on the grounds and are renovating the apartments one-at-a-time as residents move out. Otherwise, I have not noticed much of a difference--good or bad.
The main drawback is the noise. Depending on the location of the unit, you may be near Mopac, which can get noisy (especially the ambulances for the nearby North Austin Medical Center hospital). Otherwise, the amenities are good and there is plenty of parking. The grounds are well maintained with many large trees.
