They call themselves "luxury apartments". This is more than misleading, it's false advertising in my opinion. I lived in nicer student apartments on Riverside when I was in college. I had countless problems with the staff in the front office. I was treated downright rude and disrespectful on several occasions. I have never been talked to so unprofessionally by a person in a customer service type position. There are charges and fees required that are not made known until moved in. I had water pouring down from the ceiling in one bathroom that took SIX trips from maintenance to fix because it was not done correctly. The tubs are not even ceramic or tile; they are plastic. Actual plastic, which is EXTREMELY hard to clean. The carpet is not really a roll of carpet, it is interlaced plastic with strands of yarn woven into it that makes crinkly noises when you walk on it. It sort of sounds like you are walking on gift wrap. There is no ceiling fan or light fixture in the living area or quest bedroom. The walls are very thin and therefore you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on around you. On top of all of that, the front office staff is very unaccommodating and makes you feel stupid if you ever have a question or need something from them. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from living here. There are far better complexes for the same or cheaper in the same area. It's not worth your trouble to live here.
