Absolute robbers, they will charge you atleast $500 for the carpet when you move out even if you left it in perfectly great shape. I have just been robbed by them, they will speak nicely when you move in but when you move out, they will rob you. There are plenty of nice apartments around metric blvd, rent anywhere but here.
I am kicking myself for not believing what people had written earlier about these apartments and renting this place in haste. Its my earnest appeal to all of you to shun these apartments completely. In addition, the corridors will always remain unclean and perhaps once in a millenium they care to wipe the crap of animals lying in the corridors.

I agree. They did the same to me and I am still trying to fight it. Unfortunately they wiped out my credit rating because I refused to allow them to blackmail me.

Does anyone know if Verano reads this stuff? I know like at our jobs we have to keep our opinions of our bosses to ourselves; but in this case they REALLY need to know how much they suck. REALLY, I think it would benefit everyone in the long run. They need to know the truth about what the deal is, and if the front desk is in a total douchebag state of denial then maybe their parent company in Santa Monica or wherever would deal with what's going on with the main office. Maybe Santa Monica is really the problem, but all these reviews telling people to find somewhere else to rent can't be good for their income.

Oh uh, I am moving out soon.. now I am afraid I will be over charged >< ...my carpet is in excelent condition but with what you said I dont know what to expect. Did they inspect the apartment in your presence?
