I've lived in a 1/1 at Villa Arcos since June 07, and I am moving out this August 08. I lived here with my wife while she attended UT law. We're leaving because she graduated law school and we're moving to Houston. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this apartment. The neighbors are pretty quiet, seems to be mostly grad students. The location relative to campus is excellent; the UT shuttle picks up across the street, but it's only a 15 minute walk to campus.

The leasing office is at another location, but they were always quick to respond to any requests. Maintenance resolved problems within a day on average. The worst problem we experienced was a loss of hot water, twice, however, it effected the entire complex and it was fixed in two days.

I would recommend this apartment to any UT student looking for an affordable, conveniently located apartment (especially for engineering or law students!) My biggest complaint is that the office constantly shows the apartment to other people towards the end of the lease; we get a call asking to see the apartment at least 3 times a week.
