Cheap but problematic

I've been here for only six months but there are constantly problems with the appliances and hot water. Every month something breaks. I've had problems with the dishwasher, washer, dryer, refrigerator, heater, air conditioning, hot water, water pressure, dramatic flucuations in the water temp. Access to my apartment is horrendous, parking is adequate, but the garbage is always full.
At least the apartment is large, cheap and located at a good spot. I don't hear my neighbors much and maintenance does respond quickly, but they should when they get this much practice.
The people in the office are nice and generally treat you well. Keep in mind that these apartments are very old. They are tough to heat in the winter and extremely tough to keep cold in the summer, expect bad electicity bills.
Time warner is not offered at this complex and SBC basically ignored me when I tried to get their TV service.
Its not that bad, but I can't wait to get out.

WOW! I was thinking about moving in, but here is another criticism about the same old worn appliances. Hot water with good pressure is not a luxury here in Austin, therefore this makes the complex look very run down! I am glad I looked on here before wasting my time in your leasing office, where I know would not be told about any of this!
