Signed a 1 year lease because I loved the location, the size of the apartment, and all the big oaks.
Parking is fine, but I'm not really picky about it. Swimming pool and hot tub look okay, but honestly I've never used them. The mini-gym isn't bad, and they've updated it a bit. No complaints there.
The staff is generally very helpful and friendly.
BUT, the apartments need work. A lot of fixtures and cabinetry are junk, and the appliances are mismatched, loud, and old. Every month that I've been there I've had a major problem. Minor problems are usually fixed quickly and correctly. The major ones have been done sloppily, if I owned the place I'd be embarassed at the workmanship.
If they turn things around before I move out I'll be happy to come back and update, because it wouldn't take much for this place to be really good. Unfortunately, my gut feeling is that management is very happy with piecemealing their updates and bandaiding their problems.

WOW! I was thinking about moving here, but not after this tenant's response. I have to say poor managment is the worse thing to have to deal with!!!

I have had more than one person tell me they are getting screwed by the new management (joseph) because he would not take responsibility for the mistakes or promises the previous staff made. Denise and whoever else it was right before he moved in took repair requests that were not completed. joseph came in and as many mgrs do in MANY other complexes his response was "it's not in your file." I was so angry by his lack of concern, as were the other people I have met on here, and left. Even after taking the Texas Property Code AND their own TAA lease steps to make repairs. Don't trust this management.
