I moved in six months ago. At the time I didn't realize that they were going to be doing massive construction and shutting water off with less than 24 hr notice. For almost a month workers were banging on the outside from 8am-6pm. My fiancee's car was broken into a couple times (had the inside destroyed). The woman in the office said she would see what she could do. I guess she could keep quite and never mentioned it again. But, the staff is really nice otherwise.
I like the old oak trees and area. Neighbors can be pretty trashy, but that is apartment living. I have seen cop cars around more than a few times, but I can walk my dog after dark safely (I'm female). So, all in all Village Oaks is ok...I guess...B-

Well I would like to say that the construction is done. As for the water being cut off we truely do apologize for any cut offs, sometimes they are out of our control but for the ones that are within our control we will make it a point to notify resident well in advance and hopefully we will be able to limit the amount of cut offs that we have. I was made aware of a couple of car break ins, I talked with APD and they made me a promise that they would bump up patrol, especially sense the Arboretum was a target at that time. Since then the break ins have decreased to my knowledge. I hope that the trashy residents that you are referring to have been taken care of. If not please bring to my attention and I will personally take care of it. I hope that the rest of your lease is a smooth stay and that we can turn the B- score to an A . Please let us know if we accomplish that. Joseph Property Manager |
