I did have a good review up here, but now I must change it to a bad review. When I moved in the management was friendly and extremely helpful. Once the property changed hands, things went downhill fast. The complex is no longer kept up properly, maintenance requests are slow and the management is just plain rude. If you like being abused live here!

The new management sent out a note saying they no longer accepted packages. I think they changed their policy after so many people complained.

I have lived at Village Oaks for almost 3 years now. In general it is a nice place to live but I have consistently had problems with noisy neighbors. Currently I have some neighbors from across the border who apparently have no respect for people who have to work during the day. They say up all hours of the night talking loudly in Spanish (not inside their apartment but outside in the parking lot. I wish I could break my lease right now but it would cost me about $1500 dollars and that's a lot of money to me.
