They stick it to you any way they can.

Rent is due on the 1st and is late by the 2nd. If your rent is late, not only do they charge you a $50 late fee, they force you to pay the "consession" for the apartment for that month as well. For me, this would amount to roughly $200.
What is the consession' Well, it's the difference between what you pay per month and what they claim the "market price" on your apartment is. It's a lie. The price you pay per month is roughly the same as the rest of the apartments in the area, the "consession" is just another way they try to stick it to you.
Another way they stick it to you is by way of the cable service. They claim the former management signed a exclusive deal with Grande Cable (for 10 years!), so if you want something besides static on the TV, you must use Grande (which is garbage, and expensive for what you get) or else get satellite service. Of course, it's a $500 deposit to put a dish on your balconey, if you even have a southern view.
I wouldn't put any stock is worrying about the murder that occured, as they arrested the ex-boyfriend in Dallas not too long ago. It wasn't a crime that anyone else should worry about.
