one side of the story

It is easy to argue when you only hear one side of the story. On this site it appears you mainly hear from the unhappy residents. (and I am sorry, but most comments on here look as though they have been written by twelve year olds. use proper grammar and even spell check if you need to) Here is another side:

I have lived (not worked) at this property for almost two years. The biggest problem I have had in that time was my AC stopped cooling. It was fixed the same day. All other minor requests have been taken care of in a timely fashion. The apartment itself is far from average. It is very spacious with a very nice f/p dividing the living room and dining room. (Actually, this was the reason I chose this apartment over two others I was considering at two other properties) Overall I am extremely happy with my decision to live here.

The problems with the actual property I have experienced while living here have been previously stated. Yes there was a few week period when the trash piled up. Yes the gate still has not fully recovered from being hit by a school bus. Yes one tanning bed has been down for a while. (but we do still have one more tanning bed working then any of my friends do at there apartment complex) There are some problems, but none are making it a horrible place to live and all can be traced directly back to MBS.

This leads me to the staff. I feel incredibly sympathetic for the girls who work in the office. How ever much they get paid it is not enough. "They are the ones who sign people up to live here, so if anything goes wrong it is their fault. Then if it doesn't get fixed it is again their fault. If they are told something will be fixed by a certain day and they in turn tell us this, then it doesn't happen... again their fault." I am intuitive enough to know they are just the middle person in this process. They can only do so much. They can't fix the gate themselves. They don't unclog toilets or fix leaks. They simply pass on your request to maint. After that, their responsibility for the problem ends. They are way more patient and friendly then I would be in their postion. Things break, it happens. I think they are doing an admirable job holding this place together. (Especially Valerie!)

Love the staff, love my apartment, happy with my decision to live here.
