WILL LOSE PAPERWORK, CLAIM LIES, LOSE PAYMENTS!!

The office staff at Villages of Sage Creek in Austin, Texas will be so incompetant as to lose the Lease that you signed and BE VERY CAREFUL! If you PAY WITH A MONEY ORDER THEY WILL CLAIM NO RECORD OF PAYMENT!! We moved out three months early because they were giving us so much grief all the time with random office staff lying to us about repairs, misplacing our payment records, and promising us new carpet for months on end. Also, when we moved in they told us for over two months that 'everything was ready and we are good to go'-meaning we had picked out our apartment, paid our move in fees and even set the date to move in. We called all the way up to the day before we moved, at which time they told us that they hadn't run a credit check yet! and that they would get back to us. then when we worked through that drama, we showed up with a moving van and our apartment was not ready! luckily they gave us another apt on the same floor, promising they would replace the carpet for months and months only to NEVER REPLACE IT. then on top of that! after we moved out and paid our reletting fees and our fees for early move out, they CHARGED US $300 for coathangers left in the apartment! threatening to hit our credit if we didn't pay! then when we told them that we had a returnable $400 pet deposit still coming to us, they claimed to HAVE NO RECORD OF OUR PAYMENTS!! so we had to dig through a years worth of records and go to the HEB home office to get copies of the money orders they INSISTED we pay with on our move in day!! JUST TO GET THEM NOT TO HIT OUR CREDIT!! so, not only did we NOT DAMAGE the apartment in ANY WAY, but they were going to KEEP OUR pet deposit and CHARGE US AN EXTRA $300!! for coathangers!!
They are awful awful awful! DO NOT MOVE IN THERE OR YOU SHOULD EXPECT A YEAR FULL OF PROBLEMS with payments and credit and all kinds of randomness!!!
