Although the management has changed, the initial problems with this property were so bad that there doesn't seem any way to save this sinking ship! The setting of the apartments is beautiful: on a nice greenbelt; however, there have been several cars that were broken into, non-residents/homeless people jam up the pool area leaving trash everywhere, security gates and lights don't always work properly, kids skipping school (Connelly High is right next door) and hiding out on the property smoking and selling pot, and the quality of residents keeps getting lower and lower as the smarter, wiser people move out or stay away completely... and too many other issues to list. Save yourself lots and LOTS of time, energy, unneeded stress, and money by living some place other than Villages of Sage Creek-- living under the nearby I35 underpass would give you similar conditions, and you wouldn't be charged ridiculous rent and mysterious fees--don't expect to get your deposit back either as the "files from the previous management have disappeared..." How convenient for the new owners!

Thank you! I had a bad feeling about The Villages of Sage Creek when I narrowed my choices down to two properties (Villages being one of them). With this rating as well as the others I've decided to go else where and I'm very happy with my decision. I'm not, however, happy with the fact that Villages is keeping my $275 deposit I put down for just five days...

I lost my deposit records as well because they "lost the files" but what's funny is that they ACTED SURPRISED about it!

wow, this sounds like it does suck. at least your negative review made sense and didn't have baseless claims. i'd never live next to a place with a high school next door, let alone a walmart across the street.

Villages of Sage Creek is the MOST horrid place I've EVER lived! Run people! Don't live there! Run! Get away fast! It is VERY unsafe and just plain bad! RUN!
