I have recently moved out and a month later I got a notice saying I broke my lease. Well I didn't this place requires a 60 day notice and I gave it but they only have a 30 day notice WTF!!! They r now charging me 700$ because they didn't put my notice into the computer. The people that work there r not responsible or professional! I would never reccomend this place there are plenty of nicer places in the area not worth it at all!!

for future reference, always get a copy that they received your notice to vacate. you should have to sign a TAA NTV form. have them show you a copy of whatever notice you did give them, don't just take their word for it. they could easily be wrong.

Yeah, they are not professional. Looking at your date moving out, you probably spoke/notice to the person Annie Alvarez. She was the worst. But I guess she is gone now. I haven't seen her lately. She would never follow up a resident's request. Whenever I spoke to her, the request would never be done or gets lost. But she already claimed she did make note or put it up to a maintanence order. However, to me, none of them are true. Speaking to their assistant manager or someone instead, the chance to get the job done is greater. My neighbor moved out in June and he encountered the same problem. He's lived there for 5 years. This apartment just doesn't care how long you stayed with them. What they care is how to catch you a little mistake. He told me that he just missed a few days in order to make up 60 days notice and they charge him another month of rent. Since he bought a house, he decided not to pay for it. In his case, I don't know if Sage Creek will ruin his credit history. I lived with another apartment; they may make some exception for long engaging residents, but not the Villages of Sage Creek. BTW, the late rent is very expensive too.

You also need to keep in mind all leases are signed by both parties. The Villages of Sage Creek should not have to babysit residents. Just like any other contract you should read it before you sign it. Common sense. If you have problems with any management company, you should get everything in writting. Have them make copies of everything you turn in to them.
