Next Best Thing to a Country Home From: Sewfits Date posted: 1/11/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I moved here in Sept 05 from a house on a wooded acre in Louisiana. I haven't lived in apartments in over 20 years, and I was braced for a lot of intrusive noise, inconvenience and general hassle. Instead, I've found a place that I can relax, watch squirrels out my back door, with friendly neighbors and quiet surroundings. Did I mention that this is a pet-friendly complex' When my lease is up I plan to stay on for a while. Please note also that I am an older resident--older than dirt, as the youngsters say. I find the young people friendly and polite, and have made several new friends here. What a wonderful welcome to Austin!
