First, the complex is old and not kept in wonderful shape. The parking lot is dim and unsafe. I check my windows everytime I pass by to make sure they werent one of the ones broken into overnight. There are a lot of nails and crap in the parking lot, already had two flat tires. One tire had 3 nails in it. Maintenance is nice, but wont fix it if they dont have to. My dad broke a widow on accident, took two days to get two. Our refridgerator seal has been broken since day one, I have to kick it everytime. Appliances are less than steller. Toilet has been dripping since day one. The plumbing above us leaked and caused the drywall on the ceiling to crumble, theres a small hole. I told them, but wont fix it. I had to ask to get security locks put on 5 windows (I would ALWAYS lock doors and windows here). Managment recently changed and I have seen some result. Place is kept up nicer. Theyre nice people. Parking lot and complex is dimmmly lit. Right under airport flight path, sounds like planes are going to land in the tennis court. Also we here a lot of helicopters over I-35. Neighborhood a street over is low income housing, watch for little kids and various animals while driving there. I do like the amount of space for the cost. I share my room with a roommate, we have three desks (one of which is an art desk). Oh...our foundation shifted and our door doesnt lock very well and a vine plant has somehow grown under the concrete and up between the baseboard and wall...very weird. Were seeing who far it will grow...already has 10 leafs. They do respond quickly with exterminators. We first got here and its was like Joe?s Apartment. We havent seen one sicne then though. Also later we had a problem with little black spiders (I swear the hiss and hop!!!) havent seen once lately after the extermintor came. In all, keep searching. Even the MacKenzie apts down the street are better. Still on Cameron Bus stop, a major plus. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
