If you?re even *thinking* of renting at the Villas of La Costa, just rid yourself of that idea and go scrub your brain before you find yourself in the dungeons of this hellhole. We had the most horrible experiences here.



The nightmare included everything from noisy neighbors and scraggly kids, to constant car burglaries (thankfully none were ours), to stray animals roaming the premises freely, to constant dog crap littering the grounds, to constantly broken laundry facilities, to unreliable and untrustworthy office staff, to ever-moldy, ever-wet carpeted floors resulting from a leaking hot water tank that was never inspected or properly fixed (because they can never hire or keep a good maintenance person)!



This apparently was a "nice" apartment complex that was built in a slummy area of Austin. (Walk behind the nice black gates and tall hedge, and you?ll see what I mean.)



If you are eligible for housing assistance, this place participates in the program (which might explain a lot). Yes, the rent is low and I?m all for providing housing assistance to folks that need it, but this place isn?t even worth a penny to rent from!
