Villas Of La Costa

You get what you pay for. It's pretty cheap for the amount of space and being on the shortest UT shuttle is a huge advantage and the main reason I chose to live here.
My old car was broken into a few weeks after I moved in, so that sucked. I am worried about people breaking in to my apartment because there have been some recent burglaries.
Some of the people who live here are sort of trashy and there is always trash laying around. The 9 million kids that live here are noisy and annoying.
Maintenance has been ok. The sewer backed up into my apt. and flooded the entire unit. They were quick to respond, but did not replace the carpet. They only cleaned it. YUCK!!
Explore your options before you decide to live here. It's ok, but not the safest or best option. It's pretty cheap, though.

Look -- there's a glut of residential rental property in Austin right now, even post-Katrina. No, it's NOT OK to be lied to by the management, tolerate unsafe and unsanitary conditions. And for the money, it's not even NECESSARY. |
