I agree with my neighbor...I like it here!

I'm glad someone else is happy here. According to the other reviews, I thought I was the only one. It sounds like things have really changed around here or some people just prefer to see the glass half empty. I moved in last June and off the bat I was impressed. They had a huge party for everyone with free food and music. I thought it was awesome how the staff was really making an effort to talk and get to know everybody. I think everyone that lives here can agree that maintenance does an awesome job, not that I've had to use them very much, but they did help me move my new couch in without me asking. They also do a great job of keeping the gounds clean.
The only complaint I have is that I don't have washer/ dryer connections. Overall, the quietness and clean grounds make it worth it. There are Mexican-Americans that live here but I've never seen them drinking and being rude in the parking lot, in fact, everyone that I've met here seems nice. Face it, people, we live in Texas. I just recently graduated from UT last December, and now I'm working full time here in Austin. I can truthfully say that as a student and as someone that has a full time job, Villas of La Costa is a great place to live. I've already renewed my lease once and plan on doing so again at the end of May. From some of the other ratings I've read about other apartment communities in this area, Villas of La Costa is a hidden treasure!
