On the down side, the train is annoying but like everyone says, you get used to it. However, I would never live in one of the apartments right by the tracks. Last time I needed a repair, it took 3 days for them to come. The closet space in my 2 bedroom is poor. There is no hall or patio closet, so if you want extra closet space you have to pay a monthly fee to get an outdoor closet. You also have to pay extra to get a covered parking space which I have never had to do before. Parking can be scarce if you are coming home late. I don't know if the walls/floors are thin, but it sounds like elephants are jumping rope up above us everyday.
On the upside, the apartments are beautiful inside and out. The pool/work out room/movie theatre is great. The apartments are spacious with every ammenity you could imagine. The neighbors are nice. I have yet to run into any rowdy neighbors and I live by the pool. There aren't a lot of college students here. The new management is much better than the last.
Overall I would live here again. When you live in apartment there are things you just typically have to deal with. Just don't rent an apt. by the tracks!
