My boyfriend and I moved to the Villas last April. All of the apartments were just re-done with new appliances and a lot prettier paint than before. We have had no problems with the staff or maintnence, although our slide door that pushes open into the washer/dryer area broke about the 3rd month we were here. I've never actually called maintenance or anything else so I wouldn't know about the response times.

As for the trash, there used to be a trash can right in front of our building, number 2, and about half way through our stay they removed it. I have to say that its been pretty sucky to drive my trash half way around the complex and getting letters that say to removed trash from my porch, seeing as how I don't want to just take one bag at a time to the dumpster.

Oh, a quick note about parking, depending on the building you live in... if you arrive after 10pm durring the work week you probably will have a nice little walk.

Other than that we are about to move out. Our lease ends in April and we are ready to move, but I am a little scared. After reading some of the reviews about the deposit not being returned and moving out fees and what not, I'm not sure if I can afford to move out'! We do have a very small puppy, around 4 pounds, and I have not yet paid the $500 and $10 a month. So I'm pretty sure we are going to get a lot of bills comming our way. Should we repaint ourselves' Should we pay the pet deposit before we leave' I'm not sure what to do.

Anyone have any suggestions' They are welcome to gb1jj@hotmail.com.

Thanks!!

I don't think I'd tell them about the dog or pay the fee. I'd rent a carpet shampooer and clean very, very well. Take pictures after you clean. Be sure to insist they inspect in your presence and don't make mention you ever had a dog and don't have it there when they inspect. I lived in that same building and the trash situation was ridiculous, and parking after 6 was bad, after 9 or 10, almost impossible!
