If Schmuck doesn't refund your deposit in 30 days, send him a certified letter demanding your deposit be sent to your forwarding address. If he doesn't respond after 10 days, you can take him to either Small Claims court or JP court and potentially receive $100, three times the amount of your deposit, and your attorney/court fees. That could amount to quite a bit of money! You pay for these courts. USE THEM!
