This place is nice physically for an apartment THIS close to UT. However, weighing that pro versus all the cons-- it's quite horrible to live here.

If you like the sounds of broken beer bottles thrown from balconies into the alley between this apartment and the new building establishment, then by all means this place is for you.

The walls are paper thin! Literally, any shout or even just regular conversations from outside can be heard with thorough detail from inside even when your windows are completely flushed closed. This also creates the lovely atmosphere of listening and EXPERIENCING other parties that can occur around you. Anyone playing bass on their stereo gets sent through your room as if your own flatmate is playing it. Not only that, if you're the lucky few to be living below a light walker-- that should be the end of it. But no, the boys who lived above me had legs of lead as I heard them walking around their apartment all the time. Construction has not helped either, when signing my lease, I was told "there would be noise coming from construction" but it should end by December-- now the project is to finish in Fall 07.

No one knows what is going on in renting office. So if you choose to live here, become friends with someone who works here-- otherwise your requests will be unmet and unanswered. Management are pretend-nice and it just adds to the eerie atmosphere that is the Villas. There's suppose to be a security guard who is here to contain "incidents" on weekends, but he can be seen joining in on parties sometimes... completely RIDICULOUS!

If you're willing to pay for 1000 a month for a guaranteed to be in an obnoxious environment that's close to campus then this is the place for you.
